Shipping policy



LAST ORDERS FOR CARDS AND COASTERS BEFORE CHRISTMAS IS MONDAY 18TH DECEMBER 2024. SORRY BUT IT IS NOW TOO LATE TO ORDER PRINTS, CUSHIONS ETC IN TIME FOR CHRISTMAS. 

Please note: for exceptional orders which are unusually large and/or heavy or the item is being delivered to a remote place then the delivery charges may be different to those displayed.  If this is the case, we will contact you before your order is finalised. 

GICLÉE PRINTS AND CARDS - N.B. International shipping not currently available.  Please contact me directly if you would like to discuss shipping overseas on barbarajanedesigns@gmail.com or use the contact form. 

For giclée prints, the cost of shipping is included in the price for the UK mainland.  Other shipping costs are shown at checkout.

These items are ordered from a professional printer, then inspected and signed by myself before shipping them personally.  As such, please allow a 10 working day lead time for UK orders or a 17 days lead time for international orders. However some items may be kept in stock and so may arrive much more quickly. Once ready they are shipped by 1st class Royal Mail or via a tracked service for larger, more valuable prints. 

Please note if your order is being sent internationally outside of the UK or EU, there may be import duty and tax to pay when it reaches its destination. The customer is responsible for payment of any import duties and taxes so please contact your local customs office for further information before placing your order. 

HOME AND ACCESSORIES PRODUCTS FULFILLED BY CONTRADO  -  N.B. International shipping not currently available.  Please contact me directly if you would like to discuss shipping overseas on barbarajanedesigns@gmail.com or use the contact form. 

Cushions and coasters are fulfilled and shipped directly to my customers by the UK print company Contrado Imaging Ltd.  Shipping to UK mainland addresses is free and cost of shipping to other locations is shown at checkout. 

Contrado will aim to make and dispatch most products within 2 days although items may occasionally take a day or two longer e.g. umbrellas take 2-3 days.  Contrado use 1st class Royal Mail or courier is used depending on weight. 

For other locations, the cost of shipping is shown at checkout and please note there may be extra charges for remote areas.   Worldwide shipping usually uses a fast, tracked courier service. However, please note that items to military addresses (e.g. BFPO, BP or PO among others) are dispatched by Royal Mail and the customer will need to pay any customs tax and duty charges. 

Most other destination duties & customs are paid by Contrado.  In the event that the delivery destination does not have its duties and customs paid by Contrado, then the customer is responsible for payment of customs taxes and duty charges. If you are in any doubt, please contact me and I will endeavor to find out whether your destination is covered by Contrado.  If not then you should contact your local customs office for further information before placing your order.
